Classification
The hector dolphin is a mammal. This sea creature belongs  to the dolphin family and lives in only New Zealand. Some dolphins are smaller than a person some are bigger the than a bus. Dolphin's have up 100 teeth. 



Description

Hector Dolphin females have a longer belly. Hector dolphins are the smallest dolphins in the world and they are the only dolphins that have a rounded black dorsal fin. This dorsal fin helps them to balance. These dolphins are grey.



Location

This dolphin lives only in the ocean around New Zealand and in coastal waters.

Dynamics
This sea creature  swims in groups and speaks to each other by making a clicking noise. hector dolphins drink milk  
they eat fish , squid and shrimp. Dolphin's eat there food
